Razan Alsous is the Founder and MD of Yorkshire Dama Cheese, an award-winning artisan dairy business based in West Yorkshire. Originally from Syria, she pioneered the now-famous “Squeaky Cheese,” reimagining traditional cheese-making with an innovative, preservative-free and vegetarian-friendly approach.

Her products have received over 65 national and international awards and the recognition of royalty, including a visit from HRH The Princess Royal. Most recently, Razan was honoured in Belgium with an international Food Technology Award, presented in the presence of HRH Prince Edward and HRH Princess Isabelle of Belgium.
